EasingMinds is dedicated to helping people overcome emotional problems, harmful habits, and respond effectively to life’s daily stresses.
Depression and anxiety are major sources of pain and suffering. With one in four of the population suffering from depression and possibly on medication, EasingMinds mission is to treat such conditions and to teach skills to tackle and help prevent further relapses. Anxiety can manifest itself in many distressing symptoms such as physical ill health, harmful habits, panic attacks, phobia, obsessive compulsive behaviour, general and social anxiety and, as such, can be debilitating.
EasingMinds adopts a flexible therapeutic approach which, firstly meets the needs of the person seeking help and then examines how their condition affects their quality of life and everyday functioning. Cognitive behavioural therapy is used as a framework, within which are structured other therapeutic approaches.
